Poke Marketing announces Strategic Partnership with Downtown in Business

We’re really excited to announce our new strategic partnership with Downtown in Business.

Over the last two years, we’ve worked closely with the DIB team across a range of campaigns, events and marketing initiatives, building a relationship that has played a huge part in our growth as an agency. From supporting creative around MIPIM in Cannes to developing campaign designs for UKREiiF, it’s been exciting to work on projects that sit at the centre of conversations around business, investment and growth across the UK.

Since joining Downtown in Business in 2024, we’ve also had the opportunity to connect with inspiring businesses, organisations and leaders from across the country through events, partnerships and industry conversations. It’s helped us continue growing nationally while staying connected to Liverpool’s creative scene and the wider North.

As part of the new partnership, Poke will support Downtown in Business across brand, digital and wider communications as DIB continues to expand nationally.

Hear from our Director Andrew Binns:

We’re incredibly proud of how far Poke has come over the last few years. What started as an ambitious independent agency has evolved into a business that is now contributing to wider conversations around creativity, marketing, business and place.

A huge part of that journey has been the relationships we’ve built through Downtown in Business. The support, opportunities and connections that come through the DIB network have been genuinely valuable to us as an agency.

What makes Downtown unique is its members. Being surrounded by ambitious businesses, leaders and organisations who care about growth, innovation and the future of cities creates an environment that naturally pushes you forward.

This partnership feels like a natural next step for both organisations and we’re excited about what we can build together moving forward.

Hear from Downtown in Business Chief Executive Frank McKenna:

Poke has become an important creative partner for Downtown over the last two years, bringing energy, strategic thinking and strong creative delivery to a number of our projects. Their growth reflects the strength of the region’s creative sector and we’re really excited to officially welcome them as a Strategic Partner.”

It’s been a really exciting period of growth for us recently and this partnership feels like another big step forward. We’re excited to keep building on the relationship we’ve created with the DIB team over the last few years and see what we can create together next.
