We have a new addition to the Poke team!

This week, we have welcomed a new addition to our team in Liverpool.

We are excited to announce we have a new Marketing Executive, Abby Millward.

She will be managing our social media platforms, developing marketing strategies, and creating engaging content in close collaboration with our clients. Abby will also be crafting brand stories and copy that support client growth and help bring their social media presence to life.

Meet Abby Millward, Marketing Executive

Where have you studied or worked previously?

I graduated from Lancaster University in 2023 with a Business Management (BSc) degree. Since then, I’ve worked as a Marketing Assistant for both a Mindset Coach and a cardiac rehabilitation charity, where I developed essential skills in content creation, marketing strategy and copywriting. 

I am very excited for my new role as a Marketing Executive, working with a wide variety of clients in different industries, but also becoming part of the Poke team.

What are some of your key strengths?

I’m skilled in content creation, content planning, strategy, and social media SEO, but I’m especially passionate about the creative processes behind effective marketing.

I’ve managed and grown brand social media platforms through imaginative content and smart, data-driven strategies, helping them expand their reach, connect with their audiences, and increase sales.

I thrive on creativity, but I’m also highly organised and innovative, qualities that I believe will support me well in this role. 

What are you most looking forward to about working at Poke?

I’m really excited to promote Poke’s brand and message on social media while also working with clients across a wide range of industries.

I’m looking forward to expanding my content creation and copywriting skills by producing engaging materials, shaping brand stories, and developing fresh ideas alongside talented designers. I can’t wait to be part of a fast-paced, collaborative environment where I can continue to grow and develop.

What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?

I’m obsessed with Football and Formula 1. I support Manchester United (which might not go down well being based in Liverpool) and try to watch every match and Formula 1 race I can. My goal is to watch a race at every track, so far I have completed Silverstone, Melbourne, Monaco and Singapore.

Abby has already made a fantastic impression, and we’re thrilled to have her on board. With her diverse skill set and creative flair, we’re confident she’ll help take our work to the next level.
