Prolific North awards
We were shortlisted for ‘Independent Agency of the Year’ at the Prolific North Awards. Unfortunately, we didn’t leave as winners but had a great evening never-the-less. Congratulations to all of this year’s nominees & winners. And thank you to Prolific North for having us & for the great nomination.
The Folly photoshoot
Our Creative Director Mark Harrington traveled to Oxford for our client, The Folly’s’ photoshoot. Mark worked alongside the team and photographer to direct the shots. Two productive days at their restaurant which resulted in some brilliant images for their brand.
Chester Races
We attended this year’s Chester Races event, hosted by our client Professional Liverpool. A fantastic event once again. And we were thrilled to be joined by another client, Zeus Tech Solutions. Thank you to Professional Liverpool for having us.
Poke & PL quiz
Our Head of Strategy, Nicola Docking, and Project Manager Mollyann Kyte attended Langton’s pub Quiz with the team from Professional Liverpool. Another great event resulting in a 2nd place win for the team.
New account manager
We welcomed our new account manager, Emily Kench to the team. Emily is a fantastic addition and has already gotten off to a flying start. We can’t wait to see what else she has to bring to Poke.
We asked Emily a couple of questions about her new role. See what she has to say.
Where have you worked previously?
I’ve had varied roles across PR, social, and brand marketing over the past 7 years. Most recently I worked in the Manchester office of agency IMA-Home focusing on Adidas’s wholesale account. Prior to that, I was on the brand marketing team at Matalan.
What are some of your key strengths?
Organisation, building strong relationships with clients, and juggling tasks
What are you most looking forward to at Poke?
I’m really excited to get stuck into the incredible projects that Poke are working on. I was drawn to Poke for their skill of getting under the skin of brand projects and the strategy, so I can’t wait to get involved.
D&AD
Mark and our design team attended this year’s D&AD festival in London. Listening to many knowledgeable speakers and hearing key insights from the judging panel. It was a great event and the team left feeling inspired by some of the world’s best creative.
