We’re excited to announce that we’ve welcomed not one, but two new faces to the Poke team. As we continue to grow and take on exciting new projects, we’re thrilled to bring fresh talent into the mix.
So, without further ado, let’s introduce them…
Meet Jack Whitelegg, Designer

What kind of work have you done in the past?
I’ve worked across a really broad spectrum of projects, including logos, branding, visual identity, as well as illustrations, web design, loyalty platforms, and ad campaigns. My career actually began in the signage industry, so I’m pretty also familiar with print and vehicle graphics.
What are some of your key strengths?
I took quite an unconventional route into design by starting my own agency, so I’ve picked up a ton of experience along the way. I’ve also got the knack for conceptual work, creative copy and illustration, so I can take ideas from their inception through to execution.
What are you most looking forward to about working at Poke?
I’m excited to get stuck into a variety of projects and learn from the rest of the team. I’m also looking forward to the buzz of agency life. There’s always something new and creative to dive into.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?
I used to be a sponsored snowboarder…
Meet Becca Heywood, Designer

What kind of work have you done in the past?
At University, I did a few internships, one of the most memorable ones was with Focal Studios who are a projection mapping studio. I helped them to create mini pixel graphics for a project called ‘Visible Virals’. It was all guerilla projection mapping around Liverpool, and the final event was a fully interactive game that was projected onto the side of the Museum of Liverpool. It was incredible to see it come to life on such a massive scale.
What are some of your key strengths?
I’d say I’m pretty adaptable and love working within a team. Some of my best ideas come from bouncing thoughts and concepts off other designers. Plus, I’m always up for learning something new.
What are you most looking forward to about working at Poke?
I’m really excited to be part of such a creative and forward-thinking team. I’ve always admired the work Poke produces. It’s bold, smart, and full of personality, and I’d love to contribute to that and get to grow as a designer with such talented people.
What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?
I am an avid DIYer and know how to plaster and tile!
Jack and Becca have already made a fantastic impression, and we’re thrilled to have them on board. With their diverse skill sets and creative flair, we’re confident they’ll help take our work to the next level.
