The Role 

We are looking for an experienced and proactive Account Manager to take ownership of our retainer client portfolio. This is a pivotal role within the agency – acting as the primary client contact and the central link between clients and our internal creative teams. You will be responsible for managing relationships, briefing projects into the studio, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring all work is delivered on time, on budget, and to an exceptional standard. 

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

  • Act as the main point of contact for all retainer clients
  • Build strong, trusted client relationships
  • Represent the client’s voice within the agency
  • Lead regular status meetings, reporting and performance reviews
  • Proactively identify opportunities to add value and grow accounts 

Project & Workflow Management

  • Book and schedule all client work into the studio
  • Write clear, strategic briefs for designers, strategists and copywriters
  • Ensure all deliverables are aligned with client objectives
  • Manage timelines and ensure projects are delivered on schedule
  • Monitor budgets and maintain profitability across accounts
  • Track and manage client hours to ensure retainers are optimised
  • Keep all projects organised and moving forward 

Commercial & Strategic Oversight

  • Spot opportunities for additional campaigns, services or innovation
  • Support upselling and cross-selling opportunities
  • Ensure work remains within agreed scope and budget
  • Flag risks or scope creep early and manage solutions proactively 

Content & Marketing Coordination

  • Work closely with the Marketing Executive to plan and deliver content calendars
  • Ensure content is briefed, created and delivered on time
  • Align campaign planning with broader marketing strategies 

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years’ experience in an Account Manager role (agency experience preferred)
  • Strong understanding of creative workflows and studio processes
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Confident briefing designers, strategists and copywriters
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
  • Commercially aware and comfortable managing budgets
  • Proactive mindset with the ability to identify growth opportunities
  • Calm under pressure with strong problem-solving skills
